Developmentally Appropriate and Research Based
Both 10-week classes use the curriculum of Music Together, allowing children to experiment with rhythm and tone at their own developmental level. Because young children learn best through play, our teachers introduce basic rhythm and tonal skills through chants, sing-a-longs, instrument play, dance and creative movement in a non-performative environment. In the Big Kids Classes, the musical exercises reflect the growing ability levels of the children, and they are given more responsibility in creating their own songs and movements and taking turns leading the class.
Why is music important
for children?
Musical communication is a basic life skill as important to your child’s development as walking and talking. Musical activities stimulate both the creative and analytical sides of our brain simultaneously. Music making also activates the impulse control and empathy centers in our brain.

Music transcends cultural and geographic boundaries. Providing your child with a foundation for musical literacy allows them the potential of “speaking” a universal language.
